Nothing with sentimental value like that, but this is my belt buckle i wear bear hunting, and the call i use. Figure its good juju. Thinking about putting a bear claw on a necklace, or the call lanyard. One can never have too much good juju.

A friend use to put a sprig of sage in his boots for luck sort of a tradition

For years j did the sand if I was putting my boots on with in reach

I don’t mind some good ole dumb luck once in a while when none is deserved

I'll grab the first feather I find once I hit the woods during hunting season and stick it on my hat.

six, countless guys do that. Has it worked out for you?

Personally I don't do anything, I do my best to make my own luck I don't expect any assistance. (grin) It's a bonus if it happens!

My grandpa left me his Chase hunting knife when he passed, hoping I would carry it when I went hunting. I have been very lucky since I started carrying it. :)

I consider my "luck" is when it all works out from the busy schedules of life and I get to go hunting... that's a lucky day for me

agree, creating your own luck is best. And preparation will make that happen more frequently. However, if the elk Gods also want throw me bone I wont turn it down.

I would like to think it has. There is just something that feels right about doing it. Makes me feel like I'm a part of the woods.
