Decent hunting conditions for elk this year

Almost no smoke, the first smoke free season in a long time.
An inch and a half rain the past 9 days , which has made the woods much quieter to walk around in.

And we haven't had cows in some of the pastures.
But maybe the not so great news is there's a sow grizzly with two cubs in the one pasture.
I also heard that some grizzlies were removed from the drainage that I have my Montana help tag in.

We've only had two days where we haven't seen or heard elk.
