Eclipse - 10-14-23

Postby TennMatt » 10 09, 2023 •  [Post 1]

I was wondering if the solar eclipse that parts of AZ, NM, and CO will experience on Saturday morning will influence how the elk may behave. My guess is that it will have little effect since it will occur around mid morning. Thoughts?

Have no scientific backing whatsoever, but IMO local weather, hunter pressure and several other items will impact elk far more than an eclipse.

I was hoping to read something on this but suppose we all have very little or no experience on the matter. Go hunting.

Swede FYI I was hunting.

In 2017 we were. 3 secouds off of the center Solar Eclipse.
Different than today's eclipse.

At that time "totality" was an incredible expierince.
