I am just curious what this is with all these states, that have a handful of elk, killing these great big bulls.
A hunting acquaintance killed a big 7x7 in a Nebraska cornfield.

Very limited hunting opportunity. Bulls are allowed to grow to full potential. Most of them have great feed as well, i.e. that Nebraska corn field. But lots of hardwoods, acorns, etc... just really food rich environment.
