Slow spring for me. I only got to go twice and hardly found enough to pay for my gas

Couple days ago i set 450 / 500yrd steel targets up on my parents neighbors hill, with permission. While i was up there i thought i might as well poke around and look for sheds. Found my first of the year.

And obviously, by the headphones found in the same location, the BT buck is a music aficionado. Sweet :D

Smart move

Lucky for me I never added a sound system to my pickups,,, And I tend to focus better on some things without music!
Ive lost some hearing, My wife would say most of my hearing.

My daughter had a bull screaming at me she was 50 yards from the bull, 40 from me. I I was on the other side of a steep terrain feature. never heard the bull

But I still hear geese when others dont!

I remember when shed hunting was so easy it wasn't that interesting.

Now days it's like the elk don't even shed because there's some unemployed toothless guy watching them drop so he can sell em and buy a carton of Winston 10,000s.

My secret area was in Nevada. The season in Nevada just made it better for the shed poachers
But yeah
A region we hunted in Idaho also gets tromped by the tracked UTVs and tore up by the big UTVs
