Post up your elk sounds?

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 02 22, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Are you folks ready for some post up your elk sounds threads, 2013 style? It works like this. I'll throw up some cow/calf sounds, or, some bugle w/chuckles, bull w/grunts, lost/separted cow, etc... you get the picture. Everyone else who cares to post up their offerings do so and others comment on the sounds.. Thick skin here.. It's all about potential ways to improve our elk noises. This will be the second year we've done this. It starts soon (early spring) and runs through late summer up until the towering finale (post all your elk sounds up).. Are you cats ready to start this now? RJ

Okay, I'm gonna take a shot at this. Calling is probably my weakest skill so I'm making a full fledged effort to get really good at it before Sept. Just downloaded Sound Cloud. Looking forward to it !

Just mess'n around. Haven't had a call in my mouth for about a year and I don't know how to do much computer stuff. But if this works, it will be a Herdbull diaphram thru a Lil Chuckler tube. No the other hand, if it don't work, oh well, back to the drawing board. In either case I sure need to practice a whole bunch. It's been awhile guys!

Hi Guys, some sound file types aren't allowed on the forum because some can contain a virus. RJ, how did you guys do this last time?

I've used you tube in the past but I think sound cloud is the best way to go. I've asked Slim9300 to post on how to use sound cloud.. He's pretty good at it.. RJ

I'll start the threads (with a new thread) and use a you tube recording I did.

The best bet is download the SoundCloud app to your phone. The rest is self explanatory.

Follow the screen shots to get the address...
