I went scouting...

Postby cnelk » 06 14, 2013 •  [Post 1]

After work yesterday I headed up to do some scouting.

First on the agenda was to get up to my wallow and put up the trail cam

Elevation was just under 10,000ft and the mosquitoes were HUNGRY!

[I dont know why I said JULY 13... Its JUNE....:) ]

A couple of short vids...

After my descent from the wallow, I drove over to a new area I wanted to check out a few miles away.

Got settled in for the night to start an early scouting hike - I went 4 miles, down 1000ft back around and up 1000ft in 3 hrs

The bulls werent big, but they will be legal - typical of the area

I think Im gonna hunt it

Great videos. I feel ready now with still over two months to wait. I could wait a long time at those wallows.
