Packing Spreadsheet

Postby JGH » 07 28, 2013 •  [Post 1]

It's that time of the year ... the time that I realize I can't run Microsoft Excel ... to make a packing list.

Look, last year, I went in for a week and didn't bring a spork. I need a spreadsheet this year.

Anyone have a template out there?

Yup, the list came out like garbage. Email me and I'll send out the Excel file complete with check off boxes for use as you pack. I mark it with a diagnal line as I assemble gerar, then with a different color the opposite way, indicating that its packed (double check system!)....

Curvebow, that list is not garbage, it is hillarious...

"Shave cream cook set" Yum, BBQ Old Spice...
"Camera Equipment Water Filter" I love taking photos of microrganisms I do not want want to know are there...
"soap spoon/fork" Don't those disolve and taste kind of bad???
"Shampoo Salt/Pepper" I had no idea I could buy shampoo to match my hair color
"tinactin coffee/tea bags/sugar" Yea, my wife tells me my coffee has mold in it too.

My favorite:
"allen wenches camping pillow" Man I gotta have one of those pillows. I bet I wouldn't even turn over once with that under my head.

But what I am really curious about are those electronic bandaids:
"AAA batteries for Petzl bandaids"

I really want to know what your recipe is for "BOW CASE trail mix".

Maybe that is kind of like my computer screen right now after reading this list the first time I laughed so hard I spit pistacios all over my screen.

I see nothing comical about curvebow's list. Doesn't everybody carry advil for their optics? I would imagine binos get eye strain the same as we do :)

Hee, hee, Hee!! LOL! You guys comments crack me up! LMAO!

The list was 2 columns, complete with blocks to check in for packing. When I viewed the list to edit it, it shows up correctly, but when it hits the site, viola, magic happened!

Still laughing!

But, maybe we hit something - new product ideas!

"Quiver tent" - useful for when you have to bivy out....

"release sleeping bag" - why make your release sleep in the cold!

I have tears in my eyes.......

Folding saw alcohol wipes? You all are a TOUGH crowd! I have trouble roughing it without my handy Q-tips cup.

Thanks, Curvebow. I know it wasn't your intention to provide a good laugh, but this list is awesome.
And thanks to the original poster for the reminder. Time to start thinking about what goes in the pack and what stays home...
