Palisade meadows or turkey creek ?

Palisade Meadows? Or Turkey creek ? Somebody please help ! I've hunted the palisades 3 years in a row. Shot one bull last year. SO many hunters though. I love the area and seem to always find the elk. But can someone point me in the direction of another good spot in Pagosa where I will see elk and not so many people? "Drop camp hunter" I am DIY and have my own mules.
