well 4 horribly long, painfully disgusting days till Dad and I roll out!
went and pulled camera sunday and seen more fresh sign. had 100+ pics. in about a month soak. cows/calves and what appears to be a nice 3 or 4 point buck.
walked the lower skid road and found fresh bear poo. (still sticky and had flies all over it). so to me thats plenty fresh for MR. BOO-BOO!
best was after walking down the skid road to the end and back to truck, we get almost to the truck (30-40 yards away) and we get smacked in the face! by the VERY NOTICABLE STRONG SMELL OF ELK URINE!!!! oh yeah baby! noticing it the second time and not the first time down the road. breeze and thermals pushing it up from bellow the skid roads out of the older re-prod. (about 10ft. now)

this could FINALLY BE MY YEAR!!! here is to hoping everyone stays SAFE and SHOOTS STRAIGHT!! keep the wind in your face!
