a sight for sore eyes

I'd love to see this first picture walking to me. this is a big old mature bull.I hunt next sunday, sept 1. the other picture would be a great shot from a tree stand.

a few non elk and mixed elks and deer. my 2nd cat i got pictures of this year. wish one would walk by in the daylight for a good picture.

Great pictures! Can't believe how brown with ivory tips that first bull is, very nice!

That is a great pic. I hope the next one you get is with you kneeling next to him.

Best of luck to everyone next weekend, my plans have changed a little as i'll be on a plane wednesday morning to head back east for a quick visit, with it being a holiday weekend i was on the fence about hunting it.

Care to share the area or unit? just curious. Ill be in 15 this year .. to me it looks like unit 51 and el rito creek? great pics and best of luck

Awesome pics! I've had my cams up for a while now, and that picture of the deer and elk together strikes me! I have pictures of elk nearly everyday....the only days I have ZERO elk are the days the deer come in for water. The elk are using the area more frequently according to my camera but steer completely clear if deer have been in that day. strange!
