Need Transport of rack, Gunnison to Rochester

I have a 340 class rack in Gunnison that I'd like brought back to Rochester NY in the next few months.

You might put an ad in our local Shopper, ads are free. Could be a college kid going home for break that could help you out.

I shipped an elk mount from Denver to MA a few years back. I sent it truck freight as "machine parts". I built a crate with a sturdy skid as a base and a beefy plywood box around the mount. Cost was about $165 from a freight terminal to a bussiness address. That was the cheapest I could find but keep in mind, if it gets damaged, you're probably out of luck. To ship it as taxidermy the rate was around $800, more than I paid for the mount.

I can get it to Michigan. Heading to Gunnison next month with a cow tag. Let me know if this helps.
