Heavy Rain Elk hunting techniques

I'm new to this forum but not new to bow hunting elk..that being said its been a rainy end of September here in North Idaho, either heavy rain or blustery shifty winds before and after. It looks like the last 3 days are going to be nothing but rain, my experience has been pretty bleak in the past for getting bulls to bugle or move a whole lot in those conditions...Anyone have any ideas out there?..besides sitting in the trailer playing cards? Chad.
