Young Elk Hunter

Postby reeperman311 » 10 05, 2013 •  [Post 1]

John Fitzgerald is my dad and I just wanted to say hi to every one. I'm 11 years old and will be bow hunting elk with my dad next year. He gave me permission to post this. My dad is schooling me on calling and shooting. Hope to learn from everyone.

Welcome to the forum reaperman311. There is plenty of room around the camp fire. Hang in here and keep posting. You have a very cool dad, but don't ever say I told you so.

Thanks guys for giving him a warm welcome. John is very excited to get started and grins ear-to-ear every time someone posts on his thread. He's a great kid and can already call well. He's very smart so he must take after his mom. :-)

Welcome John Jr. Looking forward to hearing about your year long preparation for your first bow season next fall. Just remember to avoid bike wrecks right before your season starts next year :D

John: You know a bored kid is soon into mischief. Having your son reading what cnelk and I post is doing yourself a favor. He will not be bored. There may be a lot of other terms that apply to his state of mind, but bored is not one of them. Cnelk and I are only too happy to help you out buddy. :D
