How to find Elk Habitat

Finding out where elk are hanging out during the hunting season can be frustrating. It takes a lot of work and some boot rubber to get into the areas that elk retreat to once the hunting pressure starts. After close to 18 years years of working as an environmental consultant and working closely with Game and Fish Departments, the USFS, and the BLM, I have found a way to show you on a map where the ideal elk habitat is located. I can not guarantee that you will find elk in these areas,but I can pretty much guarantee that you will be hunting in areas that elk need to survive a hunting season.
