Building Those Memories--2014

Postby ElkNut1 » 11 23, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Here's a couple photos of my son & I hauling out the Spike Bull I took early Sept. We look so calm & relaxed there! By the end of that 4 mile trek out we were pretty spent & not looking so fresh! We'd left well before light that morning & covered lots of ground before locating him & now we have the whole elk in our packs for the haul out! We didn't want to make a 2nd trip back! It was a great hunt & it's cool to sit here & reminisce about it. It's just one highlight for this year!

Notice how my son likes his pack lower on his shoulders than I do, both of us have close to 100#, I like mine higher so adjust the pack on the frame before I load it, takes 30 seconds. I like mine riding higher as it makes for less shoulder pinch! The Exo Packs did an excellent job! Thumbs up!

What are some of your finer moments? (grin)
