I know there are loads of you getting ready for the opening of season which is fast closing in. Good luck to each and every one of you.

If plans hold together this time I'm going to be hitting it 2016. New Mexico has become the state of choice for my buddy so maybe we get lucky in the outfitter draw. If not I'm going to suggest an OTC Colorado hunt. My buddy hates the thought of spending the money for a fully outfitted hunt but also hates the idea of spending money and going in completely blind on a DIY. Thus NM and the lure of a minimally guided hunt appeals to him. We will see what happens.
