Alpine Touch, Montana's Special Spice - Got Some?

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 02 12, 2017 •  [Post 1]

A plug for one of our advertising sponsors and one I almost have to do on occasion to ensure everybody has tried some of their spices (once you do, you won't return to the old Safeway brands)! I grew up in NW Montana many moons ago and this seasoning, "Montana's Special Spice" was always in my mom's cupboard. After I was all grown up (lol) and joined the Army for the first time in 79, I had to rely on my folks sending me some Alpine Touch so I could survive my first three years away from the Big Sky State. Their story on the webpage is worth the read, and, their spices are more than worth your time and a couple of bucks to order. The Original Blend is always in our cupboard but recently, the Hickory Smoke is making a play for our favorite. Swing by the page, order up a container of the Original Blend, and see the other great products they have to offer. You will not be disappointed! RJ

I agree RJ. The Alpine Touch is an excellent seasoning. We use it here and have found it especially tasty. I think it reminds me just a little more of hunting, not that I need to be reminded, but it is just good stuff.

We had 6 people up icefishing in a sleeper shack this year we made steaks, all 6 said it was the best steak they ever had. I didn't have the heart to tell them it was just a eye of chuck and not a rib-eye. Thank you Alpine Touch

A local super market sells Alpine touch.
For My brothers birthday and his Christmas present I sent him 5 lbs of gold ore, a pan snuffer and glass bottle for gold, along with a bottle of hickory smoke. Cant be beat on steaks or eggs!!!

I got some last year when you posted about it. I haven't used it much but after seeing your post I decided to put it on a roast. It was really good I put a lot more on it this time. I normally don't season my meat to much, but I will be using it again on some steak real soon!

Got some regular and hickory smoke. Taste great.

Only problem I had was when I put "RJ sent me" in the discount section the price doubled :)

LOL. Glad you like the Alpine Touch Chris. I'm actually using both the original and hickory about equal nowadays; they're both really good. I honestly think I've been "generously" sprinkling AT on my food for over 40 years? Thanks for supporting one our sponsors! RJ
