Wapititalk1, Out of Office.......

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 06 20, 2017 •  [Post 1]

Heading to the Lone Star State for a week to visit my son in law (and daughter) before he deploys later this year. I'll check in on the forum as I get time but knowing my daughter, she'll have "events" lined up all hours of the day for Mrs. Waptiti and I, which will prevent me from my normal big brother watchful eye on WT. The MODs will keep an eye on you rabble rousers to ensure you don't get out of line (I've personally asked Swede to watch over the forum till I return which is kind of like asking the fox to watch the hen house ;) ). OK, no bad language, no spitting, no drinking in public, no staying up past 10:00 PM, no jokes about turning my Chevelle into some kind of meat wagon, no harassing of any member of this forum or sponsor. Have a good week and see you all soon. RJ

I see I will have a big job this coming week. It is akin to herding cats or maintaining order when the inmates are in control of the asylum. Anyway have a good vacation RJ. We will all be here when you return, so you can get us more inline then.

I think RJ said he was leaving tomorrow morning.
My first warning goes to Lefty. I decided not to wait until tomorrow. I will need to get ahead on this.
To all other agitators here, and you know who you are, please reread the rules Essentially in addition to their direct point, they all mean just one thing, show great respect to Swede and Amen everything he says.

After doing the rounds here this morning I can say you characters have passed. Barely! I was afraid to look at RJ's Big Red pictures. I don't want to see it with the doors and trunk lid missing, big mudder tires and a gun rest on top. RJ is very proud of that being a classic Chevy.

Okay boys and girls, here are some ideas:

1. Lets paint the corporate jet. pink.
2. Lets start as many meaningless posts as we possibly can.
3. Lets flood RJ's private mailbox with requests for money
4. Someone needs to photoshop his beloved car. Is wood grain paneling on the outside going to far?
5. Lets make PETA a corporate sponsor!
6. Swede needs to get in on this by changing WapitiTalk!'s avatar to something else. Maybe something proclaiming his love for skinny jeans?
7. We could put an ad in the classifieds for his new bow! Cheap!

Okay, that should get the ball rolling and make for a warm welcome home for RJ when he gets back. It will, uh, um....show our love and admiration for him!

That is what the tree stand forum is all about. Post there.

BTW: I can't change Avatars, but I can delete stuff. RJ did not give me the keys to the house. He just handed me the shovel and told me to keep the barn clean.

As I check the forums for inappropriate garbage, why is it that I find myself just reviewing the usual cast of suspects here? Is everyone gone for the weekend again? I am starting to miss Lefty and Stringunner is AWOL again.

Miss Lefty? That is cute.

I am rarely in front of a computer during the weekend. Busy with the family.

Did shoot the bow yesterday with the new site. Love the setup!

Me? I wouldn't do that to you! I am trying my darndest to have him so happy with you he shows you the bestest spot! I mean, who wouldn't want wood grain sides, a luggage rack and a trailer hitch on Ol' Red? Just trying to jazz that buggy up a little and make it a multipurpose vehicle! Reports are back that the mud tire installation went perfectly. They only had to enlarge the wheel wells a little bit to get them to fit. Hardly anyone will notice that. The stick mom, dad, dog, etc stickers look very good on the back window I am told.

I saw RJ this morning. I could not tell if the tears streaming down his cheeks were tears of joy or just what it all meant. I could not understand a word he said as he blubbered on. Still, I take it he liked what he saw when he opened the garage door. There was Big Red all decked out for hunting. 8-) Not only was the camo perfect, but the exhaust had a faint resemblance to a series of cow and calf squeals. Anyway Tigger, I suspect you will be getting another Wapiti Talk decal for all you accomplished. RJ knows, it is not much, but as they say it is the thought that counts. Huh?

BTW: When you get your letter from RJ, check for wires and any other foreign substance inside, just incase those were not tears of joy I saw.

OK, how many can tell if RJ's picture is from a cow or bull track?

WapitiTalk1 wrote:Still in the SW you bucket heads.

Oops: That must not have been RJ I saw. His hands were covering most of his face. I thought it was to hide the tears, but maybe it was Tigger or ??? after doing the custom work on Big Red. Forget the special autographed Wapiti Talk Tigger. I hope there are no finger prints on the spray paint can left in the driveway. Forensic science has come just too far.

RJ, man, I tell ya what....these guys wanted to do all this stuff to your car....but I held them back! Well, at least I think I did. I don't rightly remember all the details I guess! And it sure wasn't my idea to paint your garage purple with pink polka dots. Uh, why are all those flamingos in your yard?

Ha, that reminds me of the time I played a practical joke on a bigwig at work. It was hilarious (that is another story in itself). However, when he got back, everyone in the office rolled over on me in 0.01 microseconds. The bigwig and me became really good friends.

I asked in a post above if anyone could tell if it was a bull or cow that made the track. This is not an absolute, but it appears to me to be a double print, or one track over another. That is most likely a bull. Cows have wider hips and their hind legs are slightly farther apart than their front legs. Bulls are more inline and their rear legs will hit on the same point as their front. This is not 100% but a good indicator.
