Do your mules enjoy backpacking as much as you do? I think I could enjoy backpacking with mules doing the carrying.

I don't do any back packing. The mules never complain. They seem to like to get out. I semi guided Kessler and his BIL to show them some hunting area.We even saw some elk. Those two young guys are WAY tougher than I am carrying that stuff on their back.Their packs weighed 40 pounds. Each of my panniers weighed 40 pounds.I had to get them to help me lift them on to the saw buck the first day.

Saddlsore, you do the kind of backpacking I like. Beautiful country to take the mules to. I suppose they are appreciative.

Thank you Saddlesore. Can't wait to get out there. That is a beautiful picture. If it looks like that above you in the Meeker area I will enjoy the trip gettin a bull or not. I will just love the change of scenery.

Vince - that's a great picture. Makes me more anxious for September to hurry up and get here. Glad you were able to get out and around ok and enjoyed your time out there.

I think that picture was kinda mean as it gave me mountain fever really bad. Now I am worthless at work.

Thanks Saddlesore, I loved it!
