Tick, tock, tick, tock.....

Holy catfish....the elk season is almost upon us. Who's getting a bit excited? I know I don't have much of anything else on my mind except pesky work. Almost here! :0.

I am leaving for camp in Oregon on August 21. My hunt starts on the 26th. I hope all of you do well and we have some great stories when we get back.

Good luck mister. If Lady Luck allows, bring a few tasty OR snacks our way in the spud state.

I will try for sure. Maybe we can get a few Idaho spuds to go with some Oregon steaks and have a good dinner. We will just have to see.

I can hardly stand the waiting. I'm pumped about heading to CO Sept. 1. I'm really excited for my wife, being that it will be her first time going after elk. Hopefully we have some good weather and see some great country. Getting an elk will be a bonus, I'm just excited to get back to the mountains again.

We leave in 4 weeks and I am jacked up. Started sorting my clothes yesterday, been working on gear tweaks lately, shooting daily, walking daily since dec1 last year.
I've watched nearly every archery elk hunt on YouTube while on the treadmill.

I'm getting stupid excited after very limited hunting last 3 years I only spent 5 days total. So I'm due for some time afield. Hung my cameras this week and just being in the woods flipped my switch and it's all I can think about know. Heaven help my wife for the next 3 weeks!
