I applied for the special general with 1 point. 847 out of 867 applicants drew which was 97% draw odds. I was in the 3% that didn’t draw! It’s a depressing day to say the least. So it’s either Montana, a Wyoming cow tag, or caribou in Alaska. Right now I can’t even think about it.

I’ll pass on that. Ive hunted both sides of Washington and I’d imagine it’s very similar. Too many people and roads everywhere. Yuk! The

We drew special cow tags in a limited unit in the second draw. What we wanted , going to hunt cows and see if the unit will be worth burning our points in next year on bull tags.

I went with unit 11 in special draw and was unsuccessful.I just applied in NM,and really hope my son draws a really good muzzleloader tag in Colorado.His odds are 50/50.We are hoping to have a good elk hunt before he starts his service in the Navy
Putting my 11 yr old in for youth elk hunts in NM,but with 4-5% odds not making any plans.Do they have better youth prices in NM?I looked but couldn't find anything
