Mine is pretty obvious I think, where did your forum handle come from?

It came about when I was in the navy. It was meant to be an insult or at least a joke. I was 5ft 6'' and about 125 pounds. The full title was "The Husky Swede". It was soon shortened to just Swede. I never cared much for the name, and when I first came online I went by Timber Beast on another forum. When I retired and moved, I changed it to Swede so as not to confuse matters by appearing to be someone new with the same name.

I was in charge of buying guns for a banquet and the treasurer at the time wrote the check out to Tigger Riffles and Shoot Gun in stead of Tiger Rifles and Shotguns. I thought, ya know what, that is the kind of incompetence my fantasy football team should be built on. So my fantasy football team has always been the Tigger Riffles. Plus, I always loved Winne the Pooh when I was a kid. Shortened to Tigger here. I am not orange and I do not have a tail or stripes however.

Given to me by my dad. I was probably only 7 or 8 at he time and I may have had a hard time keeping quiet while "stomping" through the elk woods. In my defense, he had dressed me in "moon" boots. Some of you old timers know what I'm talking about. I haven't even seen a pair of moon boots for I don't know how long!.

Navajo for "slayer of giants", maybe a god or someone significant. The "s" is supposed to be a "z" tho...

Ishy - that is the best handle on the forum IMHO

CurlyTail - I am an avid Duck and Goose hunter. Nothing gets me more excited than decoying Mallards on a windy blue sky day. I didn't figure out this Elk hunting thing until much later in life. Makes me mad - I grew up in Colorado and could have been Elk hunting in my teens and 20's. But I thought an Elk was just a big deer, and who wants 250 lbs of deer meat? Boy was I cluelesss. Now I can't wait for September as I love hunting Elk with a bow and sometimes a Muzzleloader.

One day while I was at the range I was working on some loads I had made, a group of gentle men came and gather together to do some shooting on a friends new gun, but they aren't watching there friend they were watching me shooting one after another and soon I hear this guy say my god watch this little shooter girl shoot, so at the range that's who I was, a little women with a. Big gun! Its not so bad, I think it feels great, the recoil and. Power.
If you can't find me, I'm not lost. I'm hunting!

That is what Jeremiah Johnson said too. We will give you a lot better treatment that Jeremiah got after he said he could skin griz. For sure. If you missed the Jeremiah Johnson movie this whole dialog thing probably doesn't make much sense. Sort of like a lot that goes on here. :D

When I was much younger and spending several days a week on the lake a buddy and I were designing a pump system to add ballast to boats to produce a better wake for wakeboarding. My first forum name has been my name on all other forums since... Even though I gave up all that stuff after too many injuries that would keep me from elk hunting (one back surgery was enough).

I like tree stand hunting, my dad has called me a goat repeatedly while following me up hills, and my family has had dairy goats for a hobby for a few years. You can only milk a goat so long before everybody calls you Goat Man. Oh ya, I am also relatively new here.

I am like most elk hunters, the itch to be hunting elk begins the day I get home from elk camp. I think about elk hunting year round so it's like a fever! My reeds are here on the kitchen table, will set up my wall tent today to wash the dust off, etc......

Mine is short for lazy SB outfitters. One of the businesses we run as a partnership between me, my dad and my two brothers. We got the name because my grandad always wanted the lazy SB brand but it wasn't available. After he died it came open and we bought the brand. Later we started outfitting and decided it was a good name. I don't have to explain it do I? New here so ya never know.

Some entertaining comments here. Being a bit of a lurker on this forum I admit to making assumptions about some of the handles. Ishy I imagined had something to do with Ishi, friend of Saxton Pope. I hear an accent when I read Swede’s posts. Roosiebull... well that’s gotta be the cool guy.
My older brother was Fozz growing up. At his retirement party recently, his employees passed out wooden tokens stamped WWFD “What Would Fozz Do”. I started life in his shadow, as squeak, or little fozz. When I grew a pair I graduated to Fozzy. The fame of some hand puppets on TV morphed that into Fozzie Bear.
