The cows are splitting up

Postby Lsb » 06 05, 2018 •  [Post 1]

I've been noticing herds of cows getting smaller. Yesterday and today there were a bunch of single and airs of cows. Calves should be hitting the ground.

It's that time of year again.
I have been looking for new fawns to show up in the yard, but have seen none so far. They will be out in a few days.

My wife and I just got back from a Mountian circuit and Yellowstone trip.
Three weeks ago I saw a dead elk calve on the freeway.
We glassed a few hundred elk in and out of Yellowstone not a single elk calve.
Saw a mulie with a fawn. and a bighorn with a lamb, she was also sporting radio tracker. Antelope seemed to be everywhere
