Out of the Office

I'll be "out of the office" and up in the elk woods through the end of September; pulling out very early tomorrow morning. I'll try to check in on the forum on those rare occasions I make it down to civilization and cell service. In my absence, please remember the rules when I'm not around: no cussin', no spittin', no drinkin', no cheatin', no lyin', no fightin', etc. The MODs are also gonna be in and out of service (on their own hunting adventures) but will be checking in on Wapiti Talk as they get time. Hope all of you who are currently out or heading out soon have a safe and successful wapiti hunt. Out for now, RJ

We will be sure to get Big Red out to the shop for her scheduled WapitiTalk Pimp Your Ride appointment. I think you are really going to love the 33 super swampers, pushbar mounted front winch, roof rack and of course the rack from your Idaho elk as the hood ornament. Some of the guys wanted to splurge and get her painted muddygirl camo, but then we can't call her Big Red anymore, plus that camo is so last season.

Don't worry RJ. I am back from my hunt.
I shot a cow a week ago. Lots of fun and several opportunities at bulls and cows. Finally shot one. There was a large bull with the herd, but a bird in the hand situation made the difference.
