Elk/Venison Steaks

Thoroughly wash steaks and trim any fat
Toss in a ziploc bag and smother with olive oil
Let marinade for awhile
Bring steaks to room temperature
Rub "Rudy's Rub" on them. https://www.rudysbbq.com/store/p-15-rudys-rub.aspx
Easy on the Rub if you're not a fan of spicy food
Warm up grill
Heat olive oil in fry pan
Sear steaks in a fry pan for 30 seconds or so on each side
Finish on grill, usually for about 1:30-2 minutes each side (depending on grill temp)
