Furry Speed Bump?

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 12 12, 2015 •  [Post 1]

While on a solo hunt in ID this year (stretching the RZR's legs one fine morning), I saw a fresh dirt mound and a co-located tunnel in the middle of the mountain road I was rumbling up. Nocturnal coyote digging? On the way back, I slowed down as I saw handfuls of dirt being thrown up and out of it! What in the heck would be tunneling in the middle of a road? I soon found out and was able to get just a few seconds of VID on my little Canon Elph. The road was freshly brushed this year which allowed more than just quads to get up it but this guy saw no issues at all with living where he does, even with some increased traffic

I think I can read that little pea brain's mind. "I have about had enough of you for one day."

No doubt, I've seen that look before from Mrs Phantom. That particular look is usually followed with a "really"??

looks like a badger hole to me, coyotes cant dig holes like that, usually take over a badger hole dug for food
