i get the sentiment. But around here it seems guys dont hunt in your stands, they just steal them. Lost 3 along a couple miles of creek bottom a few years ago. Needless to say i dont hunt deer up there anymore. Somebody spilled the beans anyway and now theres a million jokers hunting deer up there so the area is ruined, even if it werent for the thief. Still go up n occasion to hunt predators in the winter. Glad i got a few seasons in up there before things went bad. Killed my best 2 bucks up there 2017 / 2019.

I have found hunters in my stand a few times. I always tell them to stay and enjoy the view as I went on past them. I figured they would think it was no good and leave soon. It never occurred to me to try that stunt.
