By looking at his body would say a 3 or 4 year old.

For an Ohio deer, I would expect more antler mass at 3 1/2 . . . am I wrong?

I'd shoot him for sure next year, lots of character. Very cool buck.

Who cares how old he is, if he's big enough to make you happy, and if you think he'd look good in your home . . . let 'er fly!

Wow, what a TOAD!!!

Maybe you are right, the body on that second one is REALLY heavy, and even though the antlers are impressive, I'd expect more mass to match that hog body.

Nice deer!

Both really nice deer. Sorry to hear about the loss!
The first buck you posted I would say 3-1/2 tops. I always have fun discussing this even though I really dont practice it myself for passing on deer.
The second one looks rutted up? times of year look different and its hard to say without seeing a profile of his face (for the nose). Belly isnt sagging and his hind quarters are just starting to square off....reasons for saying 3-1/2

Looks about a 3.5er; maybe 4. Looks like three main beams. Pretty unique rack.
