CO 2015 Mule Deer Hunt

Postby Ridge Runner 76 » 10 30, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Got it done in CO 2nd rifle season. Actually had my buck down 1 hour and 20 mins. into the season. Took us till Monday to put my cousins buck on the ground. Was an awesome hunt and have never seen that many bucks in such a short amount of time. My buck was in a herd of 6. Shadowed them for 1 1/4 miles before I finally could get a shot at the biggest in the bunch. My cousins we found him solo on Monday morning. Was set to hunt all 9 days of the season, but was home by 7:30pm on Monday the 19th. Taking my 2 daughters up for their first mule deer hunt during 3rd season and hopefully the good luck continues.

To all who still have tags, good luck and safe hunting!

Thank you gentleman. Was a super fun hunt. Spent the weekend taking my daughters on their 1st mule deer hunt, and thus far its been even more fun taking them out.

Congrats on the mulies! We were hunting elk near Steamboat and saw plenty of nice mulies up there. Didn't have tags, though!
