Alaska remote hunting cabin on 5 acres for sale

Postby alaska drop camp » 06 01, 2017 •  [Post 1]

Hey guys,
I have a remote alaska hunting cabin on the south side of the brooks range, i am selling, my business is taking me a different direction and i am unable to spend as much time at the cabin like i would like, it is a outdoorsmans dream, trophy moose caribou and dahl sheep all right at the cabin, there are also mountain grizzly and black bear, it sits on a lake, and excellent fishing for lake trout, pike grayling whitefish and a few salmon, the cabin comes completely stocked and ready to go, it has a honda generator, a 16ft boat with 25 horse motor, a tool shed full of tools and everything you could need for bush living, the price is $90,000 firm, i can text pictures to anyone who is interested.

I just brought up the idea of purchasing the place for a Summer/Fall getaway. Sorry to say this, but my wife had an emphatic one word response. NO! In fact I don't think I could get her there if you gave us the $90,000 to take it off your hands. She has just completely lost her sense of humor.

Alaska, have you had any interest on this? There must be some bachelors around with $90,000.

hey guys, i would be willing to carry the note on this cabin with a large enough down, or i would also consider selling a share in the cabin, so someone could buy in at a lesser price, we would just have plan a schedule on when you wanted to use it and when i want to use it every year, you could also put together a group of guys to buy in and then just have an annual hunt, anyway im open to offers if anyone is interested.

Sounds to me like you don't really wanna give it up and might prefer a 50-50 partner or even a timeshare type arrangement with a few guys. I vacation from May 20 thry July 4th every year and could see owning an interest in a hunting cabin especially if there was someone else there that knew the area and to hunt/pack meat out with. What is required to be deemed an AK resident so a guy can get in on the good hunting? Couldn't live there 6 mos a year. Sent you a PM awhile back, you get it?
Bowhunting isn't something I do...it is something I am.
