Almost missed this one

Postby wawhitey » 03 16, 2018 •  [Post 1]

The snow is so deep i almost walked right by it. Going back sunday to try like hell to match it up. Its 100% pristine. Not a single rodent chew on it, and zero sun bleaching.

Also found a dink little moose forky, and a couple small whitetail sheds. This is my total haul today. Just went to check a camera, ended up shed hunting. Hiked 6 hours fighting soft thigh deep snow most of the time.

The other one must be nearby. Keep looking. Maybe later this year you can get his antlers with head attached. :D

Pretty nice 5x6 buck on cam up there. Been watching this spot for a few years now. Always nice bucks daylight hours during both early and late seasons. Going to hang a treestand there this spring. It will be my "plan c" spot for this year.

Way cool! That is a cool Pic!

Nice work on the sheds.... I have a much easier time finding sheds that are still connected to the animal, once the drop, I don't find them... will try again this year though :D

Still cant match up that big paddle. Driving me crazy. It must be in the timber uphill from the one i found, where the snow is still too deep.

Nice buck for sure, and as you say, you do have some hungry squirrels there.
