Mistake proof loin approach

Postby Wahpeton » 04 23, 2017 •  [Post 1]

Guys,

I stumbled along an approach to cook venison a couple years ago. It's idiot proof, good for me because I usually fall into that category.

I've used this approach with both elk and deer and it's bullet proof. Perfect every time!

I've turned on a number of friends and family to this same approach and everyone, I mean everyone has had positive feedback.

Below is the link.

How did it turn out? I'm frustrated in that everything I've done with my bull from this year has been tough.

Definitely going to try that!!! I would imagine you could finish it off medium instead of medium rare if you just increased the water temp to 160.
